Boris Johnson United Kingdom Prime Minister has tested positive for the Coronavirus.
Mr. Johnson posted on his Twitter feed a few hours ago that he developed mild symptoms of the virus over the last 24 hours. He was apparently given personal advise yesterday by the UK Chief Medical Officer Professor Chris Whitty to have himself tested after he developed a persistent cough and temperature. The PM was tested by National Health Service (NHS) staff at Number 10 Downing Street.
Two days ago on Wednesday 25th March it was announced that the heir to the British throne Prince Charles the Prince of Wales had tested positive after developing mild symptoms of the virus.
Both the UK Prime Minister and the heir to the British throne are now both self isolating at home. However the PM will not be taking any time off work. He will be using technology to communicate with his ministers and is still in charge of running the country.
