Full evacuation of civilians from Benin City by Oba Overami and his Council of Chiefs is almost complete. The people are relocating to the countryside in response to the pending Whiteman’s expedition and attack on them. It is hoped that they would be able to return to their homes or whatever is left of them when things settle down after the attack.
